Base the fee on the capacity displaced, extra coordination, overtime, and risk created by compression. Use a consistent method you can explain.
State which client response times are required to preserve the rush date.
Protect quality and boundaries
Do not quietly remove quality checks or acceptance steps. If scope must be reduced, identify the removed work explicitly.
Record the rush schedule, added fee, payment timing, and consequences of late client inputs.
