Define a revision round
A round is one consolidated set of comments on a submitted deliverable. Say which deliverables receive revisions and how many rounds are included at each stage.
Require one decision-maker or a single consolidated response. Conflicting comments from multiple reviewers can otherwise create hidden rounds.
Separate refinement from new direction
A revision brings the work into alignment with the approved brief. A new concept, changed audience, added page, or reversed approval changes the scope.
Give examples relevant to the service so the boundary feels practical rather than punitive.
Price additional changes before work
State the hourly, day, or fixed change-request method. Confirm the effect on timing and obtain written approval before beginning.
The goal is not to reject ideas. It is to let the client decide with the full cost and schedule visible.
