Fund the work as it happens.
Choose a project fee and deposit percentage. Scopeezy calculates a balanced three-part schedule and passes the fee and deposit into your client scope.
Use the number well
The calculation is a decision aid.
Review the result against the actual project, client, market, and risk before sending a price or term.
Reserve capacity with the deposit
The first payment confirms commitment and funds the start of work. State that scheduling begins after cleared payment and required client inputs arrive.
Use observable milestones
Tie the middle invoice to a clear event such as approved direction or a completed phase. Avoid payment conditions based only on subjective satisfaction.
Keep exposure reasonable
A provider should not finance most of a long project. For larger engagements, add more milestones rather than leaving a large balance until the end.
